Board Game Review: Robit Riddle
you’ll be sucked in and doing your best robot voice in no time….
you’ll be sucked in and doing your best robot voice in no time….
And the sound, oh the sound…
There’s not much to explain about the Cobra Paw rules…
the music is fantastic. Not even just really good, it’s utterly brilliant…
that’s what makes the Fallout board game so great: choice…
It’s just a brilliant game…
There’s a mild panic around the table and people slamming their hand down onto the card with such energy you half expect it to go through the table…
people around the table are barking banana-based words at you…
racing, though, is where the fun lies…
the outcome has always been the same: we’ve had fun, we’ve had a laugh and we’ve promised to play it again next time we’re round the table together…
it’s quite friendly for people who don’t play games all that much…
I still had huge fun trying to silently clear out these areas without being noticed…
the effort spent on the Snaefell course is offset by a negative effect on the rest of the game…
there’s enough of an original game here to be well worth having…
we’ve already got something very special…
go it alone like some kind of Space-Rambo and you’re only going to get everyone thumped by aliens…
it becomes clear to see some forward thinking wouldn’t go amiss…
you can probably give this a miss and not feel like you’ve really missed out…
It is, without a shadow of a doubt, magical…
