Board Game Review: Codenames
excellent entertainment, and certainly something I’ll keep to hand for quite some time…
excellent entertainment, and certainly something I’ll keep to hand for quite some time…
There’s a lot of revenge, a lot of underhand tactics, and it’s great fun…
Vigo and his minions return to the city, causing rioting and earthquakes to break out…
even at the price tag it’s sitting at, I can’t recommend it enough…
an unexpected plague is sweeping the country…
something has gone a bit awry…
Seeing people’s faces when they realise they’ve just screwed themselves is a brilliant moment…
whether it takes three runs or ten, the feeling at the end is no less satisfying…
There are enough little in-jokes to make the tie-in work well without being overbearing…
the final Emperor round can take your finely crafted strategy and give it a pretty sizeable kick in the nuts…
XCOM: The Board Game certainly isn’t just for fans of the digital incarnations…
a very enjoyable and well made game which is crying out for you to grab three friends and head to the streets…
the joy of this Portal game is being as uncooperative as possible…
Sessions can be as quick as 20 to 30 minutes…
the one thing I loved the most about The Walking Dead was that you could play it solo…
