Puppeteer is one of Sony’s really cool looking upcoming titles, and they’ve launched a new trailer for Halloween. Which was last night. Sorry about that. In Puppeteer, our hero escapes from Castle Gristlestein, – the dark and gloomy castle of the Moon Bear King – and sets out on his adventure to retrieve his disembodied his head. His extraordinary journey will take him to many surprising and diverse locations, one of which is the spooky world of Hallowee Ville. In this land of frights, things have really gone to pot since the Moon Bear King took over the Moon Realm. Who needs to be scared for fun on an outing to Hallowee Ville, when your whole world is full of fear?
Backstory:
One dark moonlit night, a young boy named Kutaro was carried away by the maleficent Moon Bear King to a black castle where the unlucky lad was transformed into a puppet.
Kutaro displeased the terrible tyrant, who devoured the boy’s wooden head and cast away his body.
But the headless hero was not alone, for he had discovered a very special pair of scissors to help him on his harrowing adventure to find his head, and his way home.
