EA have been making American Football games for 20 years, and ever since that first Madden game hit the market they have slowly but surely turned the series into the ideal game for the hard core enthusiast. In doing so they left the casual fan behind, bogged down in massive playbooks and strategic conundrums. But the tables have turned, and Madden 11 makes some small but significant changes which could well be a welcome turnaround for the franchise.
