Another new PS5 exclusive this month is available on launch, with some other big hitters, and a classic from the Dreamcast era:
Hell Let Loose (PS5) – realistic World War 2 shooter with massive battles. Interested to see how this fares on the cusp of a new WW2 Call of Duty…
Mortal Kombat X (PS4) – the best Mortal Kombat game in my experience. A great story retelling past games in a brilliant knitted together fashion, great combat, super violent (potentially too violent though?!)
PGA Tour 2K21 (PS4) – it’s golf! A new golf game! Well, the newest golf game, as EA drop Tiger and go back to the PGA Tour title.
Aaero (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, available October 1 to 31) – a futuristic flying music rhythm game. Looks pretty fun
Hover (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, available October 16 to November 15) – another futuristic game, this time you play as a group of rebels fighting the oppressive lawmakers whilst doing tricks. Sound like Tony Hawks with guns!
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (Xbox 360, available October 1 to 15) – once again, it is time to fight Dracula in this classic. Interestingly, it has 6 player co-op.
Resident Evil Code: Veronica X (Xbox 360, available October 16 to 31) – the Dreamcast classic Resident Evil game, Claire Redfield is tracking down her brother, Chris. Shoot zombies!
