Nearly at e3, Sony bring out some big hitters for the free games and Microsoft… well they turned up I suppose. Take a look at this month’s freebies that you can get your mitts on right away:
XCOM 2 (PS4) – turn based alien strategy where you get attached to your team and they’re brutally killed by aliens *sob* (but seriously, great game)
Trials Fusion (PS4) – another good one, 2D motor biking skills required to navigate increasingly complex levels. I both love and hate trials. Prepare for RSI.
Zombie Driver HD (PS3) – a top down driving game where you have to run over zombies.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (PS3) – 3rd person clunky shooter with loads of tech. Ghost Recon’s identity was all over the place at this point.
Atomic Ninjas (Vita) – colourful multi-player platform action.
Squares (Vita) – tap the blue square to turn them grey.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia (Xbox One, June 1-30) – Assassin’s Creed ventures into 2D platforming territory here as the franchise dilutes itself further.
Smite Gold Bundle (Xbox One, June 16-July 15) – some gold for a free to play MOBA. Bit of an interesting choice for inclusion this. You could use the gold to buy a new outfit.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (Xbox On & Xbox 360, June 1-15) – Sega’s take on Mario added lots of speed and a transformation aspect which was well received and remains loved by fans today.
LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues (Xbox On & Xbox 360, June 16-30) – another Lego adventure. Collect stuff. Swap characters.
