Bit of a lame month this one. Presumably given there’s so much coming out, but still, a couple of interesting picks.
Nioh (PS4) – ancient Japan, demons, sorcerers and ‘a bit like Dark Souls’, Nioh is tough but worth a look.
Outlast 2 – I’m not touching this. Scary game about a weird cult and ohmygod hell no.
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter (Available November 1 to 30 on Xbox One) – mystery from the world’s most famous detective. The Final Station (Available November 16 to December 15 on Xbox One) – you’re on a train and have to help survivors from an apocalyptic world. Sounds interesting, it’s a pixel 2D action game which dulled my interest slightly but looks interesting.
Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter (Available November 1 to 15 on Xbox One & Xbox 360) – flying action from the original Xbox.
Joy Ride Turbo (Available November 16 to 30 on Xbox One & Xbox 360) – Microsoft’s dally into the Mario Kart world has had a bit of a rollercoaster journey but ended up with Joy Ride Turbo. It’s a reasonable if basic kart racer.
