Clocks have gone back, it’s getting dark now so to tide you over…
Yakuza Kiwami (PS4) – sprawling (and crazy) combat RPG set in the world of Yakuza, remastered and enhanced for PS4. Incredible.
Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition (PS4) – off the walls first-person shooter with loads of swearing and violence. Critically received, has become a bit of a cult classic.
Jackbox Party Pack 2 (PS3) – a party trivia video game. Well, a sequel to one.
Arkedo Series (PS3) – a collection of three vintage style games which will scratch your nostalgic itches.
Burly Men At Sea (PS Vita + PS4) – really wish I clarified it was a videogame when I Googled this. Safe search on! The video game version, is an adventure game about bearded fishermen at sea with a branching story. The real life website is a subscription service….
Roundabout (PS Vita + PS4) – drive a constantly spinning limousine around picking up passengers. Sounds a bit like the town of Milton Keynes.
Battlefield 1: November 1 – 30 (Xbox One) – big get for Microsoft with this heavyweight first-person shooter, although odd timing given it’s the eve of Battlefield V’s release.
Race the Sun: November 16 – December 15 (Xbox One) – endless racer in a stylistic yet simple world.
Assassin’s Creed: November 1 – 15 (Xbox 360/Xbox One) – the original and first of the long-standing series, some control niggles and mechanics which were later refined are a bit frustrating.
Dante’s Inferno: November 16 – 30 (Xbox 360/Xbox One) – Devil May Cry ‘em up is probably the best way to describe this. Fantastical action based on the famous lore.
